Terms of service
Last updated Nov 4, 2026
The agreement between you and MinsoBill when you use the app. We have kept it as short and plain as we can.
1. Who we are
Contact us at support@minsobill.com.
"We" and "us" mean MinsoBill. "You" means the person or business with the account.
2. Using MinsoBill
- MinsoBill is for businesses, freelancers and sole traders creating quotes and invoices. You must be 18 or over.
- If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm you are allowed to. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- These terms include our Plan Promise, our privacy notice and, for the client data you put into MinsoBill, our data processing agreement.
3. Plans, prices and cancelling
- The plans and prices are shown in the app before you choose one. A paid plan renews until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Our Plan Promise is part of these terms:
- Founding members keep their price while subscribed.
- Anyone else gets at least 90 days' notice of a price change, with a free export.
- Free features are never removed retroactively.
- No deletion for inactivity without 3 emailed warnings.
- Read-only access for at least 12 months after cancelling.
- At least 90 days' notice if MinsoBill ever closes.
- After cancelling, you can still sign in, see everything you created and export it for at least 12 months. Free users always keep view and export access to everything they created.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Export your records first: deleting cannot be undone.
4. Your data is yours
- You own everything you put into MinsoBill and everything it makes for you: invoices, quotes, client lists and records. You can export all of it, on every plan, at any time.
- You give us permission to store and process it only to provide MinsoBill to you, as described in the privacy notice and the data processing agreement. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
- You are responsible for having the right to put your clients' details into MinsoBill and to send them invoices and reminders.
5. Payments: we never hold your money
- MinsoBill does not process payments and never receives, holds or passes on money. Your clients pay you directly: to your bank account, or through a payment provider account that is yours.
- If you connect your own Stripe account, card payments are made on that account under your agreement with Stripe. We are not a party to it and we are not a payment service provider. MinsoBill charges 0% on any payment.
- An invoice shows Paid only when you record the payment or your own payment provider confirms it. A client's "I've paid" is a report for you to check.
6. Your invoices and the law
- You are responsible for what your invoices and quotes say, including prices, tax, tax numbers and any wording your country requires. MinsoBill helps you, but it does not give legal, tax or accounting advice.
- MinsoBill makes ordinary PDF invoices. It does not provide certified or government e-invoicing unless the app says so plainly for your country.
- AI quick-create can get things wrong. It only suggests a draft, which you check before anything is created. You are responsible for what you issue and send.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use MinsoBill to:
- break the law, or send invoices or quotes that are false, misleading or for goods or services never agreed;
- commit fraud, phishing or impersonation, or ask people to pay you money they do not owe;
- send spam, or email people who have no business relationship with you;
- upload malware, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- try to get into another account or another business's data, test our security without our written permission, or get round limits we set;
- overload the service, or copy it with automated tools.
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to export your records, unless the law or the risk to others stops us.
8. The service
- We work hard to keep MinsoBill running and your data safe, with daily backups and monthly restore drills. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Incidents are posted on the status page.
- We improve MinsoBill over time and list changes in the changelog. Big changes to how it works get a 30-day opt-in period first, and issued invoices are never redrawn with new templates.
- We will email you about important changes to these terms before they take effect. Price changes follow the Plan Promise.
9. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
- We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for indirect losses, or for loss of profit, business, revenue or goodwill.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in those 12 months and £100.
- If you are a consumer, you keep the rights the law gives you; nothing here takes them away.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you may bring a claim where you live.
Please talk to us first: email support@minsobill.com and we will try to sort it out.
